At Palmetto Pediatric we offer unparalleled state-of-the-art health care in a compassionate, care atmosphere. All of Palmetto Pediatric physicians are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. This means that all Palmetto Pediatric physicians have completed an undergraduate college degree followed by four years of medical school. This is further followed by an intensive 3-year Residency Training Program. Finally, each has passed a Pediatric Board Certification Exam. This is all to ensure that your Pediatricians are highly skilled and thoroughly capable of providing the best health care for your family. Do you have a question about pediatric care? Ask Palmetto Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic.
Palmetto Pediatrics' physicians and staff are working towards being recognized as a patient centered medical home through the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA). The goal of a medical home is to improve the patient and physician relationship. This quality-focused model replaces acute illness care with care based on prevention, care coordination for chronic diseases and a long-term healing relationship with a healthcare team that is centered on the needs of the patient and their family. With the patient at the center of this approach, technology and electronic data allow physicians to track a patient's history, including lab tests and medications, which reduces costs, avoids duplication of tests/exams, and encourages proactive planning for both prevention and chronic disease care. Quality is measured through patient satisfaction surveys which can be accessed here, on our website, as well as rigorous assessment and review. Palmetto Pediatrics continuously works to improve care and communication with our patients and parents through quality improvement initiatives.
Whether you call our office during business hours or in the middle of the night for medical advice your questions will always be answered by a licensed pediatric nurse (BSN, RN or LPN).
